Local Artists! You asked for it! So here it is! Your chance to open up for Summer Jam 2013! Perform on the same stage as Tyga, A$AP Rocky, DJ Felli Fel and more!

We’re looking for the best local artist in Utah to open up for Summer Jam 2013! Not only do you get to open for Summer Jam 2013 but you also win professional studio time, video production and 100 printed and recorded CD’s courtesy of Self Expression Music Studios and LTA Records.

First thing you need to do is upload your best radio edited track below with all your contact information. Just cut and paste the direct link to your Soundcloud, Youtube, Mixcloud or other site below that will send us to your direct submission.

Next, a selected panel will be choosing 6 finalists to perform at a preliminary round at The Complex June 22nd and another 6 to perform June 29th. If you have been chosen to compete, you will be contacted directly and instructed further.

The preliminary rounds at The Complex will be held June 22nd and June 29th, 2013. From the 12 that are invited to compete in the preliminary rounds, only 6 will be asked to move on to the finals, which are to be held July 6th at The Complex.

Those participating in the finals and eliminating rounds will be chosen based on 40% crowd participation and 60% judges’ scores. Judges scores will be based on performance, creativity, and radio appeal of participants and their performances.

The finals will be held July 6th at The Complex. There a winner will be chosen to open for Summer Jam 2013 and preform on the same stage as Tyga, A$AP Rocky, DJ Felli Fel and more!

Compton Rapper PROBLEM will be one of the judges at the finals and will be performing as well!
