The Complex is a live music venue in Downtown Salt Lake City. Established in 2010, The Complex has hosted some of the biggest acts in the world from all music genres like Billie Eilish, Billy Idol, Slayer, Travis Scott and Vampire Weekend to name a few. Experience your favorite acts at one of the 3 main venues at The Complex; Rockwell, The Grand or The Lot and hang out in between sets in Vertigo or Papa Wolfs.
Rockwell
Rockwell is the largest indoor venue at The Complex with a square footage of 16,500 and a capacity of 2,500 people. Rockwell features a brand new heart pounding L-Acoustics array sound system with an all LED lighting system consisting of over 20 moving fixtures and other lighting effects. Events in Rockwell are typically general admission standing, all ages with bars that serve beer and seltzers throughout. A concessions area in the lobby serves food, snacks, soda and energy drinks and access to the 21+ full service bar is located through the lobby hallway.
There is an elevated Premier Seating section which can be reserved in advance.
The Grand
The Grand is the second largest indoor venue at The Complex with a square footage of 4,500 and a capacity of 850 people. The Grand features a 30,000 watt JBL Line Array sound system, along with an all LED lighting system. Events in The Grand are typically all standing, all ages on the main floor, with a 21+ bar mezzanine in the back of the room. A concessions area in the lobby serves food, snacks, soda and energy drinks.
The back of the venue (on the ground floor) features an elevated Premier Seating section which can be reserved in advance.
The Lot
The Lot is a giant outdoor venue at The Complex. Aptly named, in The Lot, a stage is built in the north end of The Complex’s outdoor parking area, converting that entire space into a music venue. The indoor lobby, concessions and bars are all available for events in The Lot.
